Knightley thinks she is losing her soul

Keira Knightley believes that her celebrity lifestyle is causing her to lose her soul.

The Atonement star has claimed that she dislikes the attention she receives for being an actress and suggested she would prefer to be "anonymous" rather than be famous.

Knightley told The Sun: “I could definitely say that if I could possibly be an actress with the career that I’ve got but be completely anonymous, I’d choose that.”

Talking about the problems of always being chased by the paparazzi, she added: "I look in the mirror and go, 'Oh no! More spots, more acne!’ And I’m not comfortable being photographed when I’m being myself.

"I believe the Aborigines say that every photo takes away a bit of your soul. It’s very odd but I think there’s some truth in that."
