Pavarotti funeral items for sale on eBay

A number of items from Luciano Pavarotti's funeral earlier this month have been put up for auction on eBay.

Official goods, including the funeral cards and programmes that were handed out only to 1500 close family and friends of the star at the farewell mass, can now be bought by fans of the tenor.

Pavarotti died on September 6 at the age of 71 after he lost his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bids of up to £35,000 have been placed on some of the funeral items from the memorial event that took place in Modena, Italy on September 8.
