Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White left a £20 tip at a local fish and chip shop in Weymouth.
According to The Sun, the reality TV star was so impressed by his helping of haddock, chips and onion rings that he handed over the large cash bonus to the food outlet.
The shop's boss Craig Johnson commented: "I thought that if he didn’t like the food he might give me a piece of his mind but he was a real gent."
The original price of White's meal at the Marlboro fish and chip shop only came to £7.
