Mel Gibson has insisted that he is still on the wagon after being photographed drinking cocktails while partying in Bali.
The 51-year-old entered a treatment programme for alcohol abuse after being arrested for drink driving in Malibu, California, last July.
A spokesman for Gibson dismissed reports that the actor has resumed his old habits, saying: "He was in Bali and he was not drinking alcohol. He was drinking those non-alcoholic virgin cocktails that are made in those island resorts.
"People should not be so quick to assume things. Unless he is there drinking water, coffee, tea or soft drinks, they're hawking misleading photos."
