Lisa Snowdon has defended ex-boyfriend George Clooney's bike skills after he was involved in a crash in New Jersey last week.
The presenter, who split with Clooney in 2005, told Sky Showbiz: "He's not a reckless driver. I used to go riding with him quite a lot on the back of his motorcycle and he's a very competent cycle driver. He's very, very good in the old 'vroom vroom' department."
But Snowdon was surprised to hear that passenger Sarah Larson had broken her toes in the accident, saying: "I'm sure if anybody was hurt he'd feel quite bad. He's a gentleman in that way."
She added: "He'll be fine, he'll be back on the bike tomorrow. It won't put him off at all."
Clooney has been warned that he could face dangerous driving charges following the crash. However, Albert Sciancalepore, whose car was in collision with Clooney's motorcycle, has said he will not be seeking damages.
