Posh rushes to UK to support David

Victoria Beckham has rushed back to the UK from Japan, cancelling her scheduled PR commitments so that she can be beside her husband David to support him over his father's illness.

The Spice Girl has been in Japan promoting her DVB range of jeans. But when she heard about Ted Beckham being taken into hospital after suffering from a heart attack, prompting David to fly in from LA to see him, she decided to get on a flight straight home to England and join him this afternoon.

A spokesperson said: "Victoria has cancelled her work commitments to fly home."

Ted Beckham, whose real name is also David, was taken into Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone before reportedly being moved to another hospital. Reports claim he is currently in a stable condition.
