GMTV presenter Kate Garraway has been fighting with her neighbours after she recruited builders to extend her property without acquiring planning permission.
The TV host lives in Islington, London, and has built a reported £50,000 extension to make a nursery for her daughter. However, neighbours have complained about the amount of noise the work has been making.
Garraway reportedly tried to hand in a retrospective planning permission request following the complaints, but it failed to keep the nearby homeowners happy.
She has now agreed to remodel the extension, which will cost a further £50,000, according to reports.
Salah Kattani from the planning department at Islington Council said: "The roof will have to come down. It will be rebuilt with more of a slope, angled away and at a reduced height."
