Charlotte Church ordered her boyfriend Gavin Henson to return home from a night out with his friends last week.

Henson arrived on his bicycle at a restaurant in Llantwit Major, south Wales, where four of his rugby teammates had invited him for dinner.

However, strict Charlotte, who gave birth to her first daughter earlier this month, called Gavin at 11pm and instructed him to come home.

A source told The People: "Everyone was stunned to see Gavin arrive on his bike. He usually drives a Jeep, so we thought he was planning to stay until the early hours. But once Charlotte called, he rushed off in no time at all."

The insider added: "Gavin was overheard telling his mates she'd told him to get on his bike. Everyone was in fits of laughter as he climbed on his bike and peddled off home. He's clearly desperate to stay in Charlotte's good books and carry on being a doting dad."
