Spears told to hand children to K-Fed

Britney Spears has been told that she must temporarily hand over her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The 'Toxic' singer has been battling over the custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James with her former partner.

The pair had been granted equal custody, but Los Angeles superior court commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Spears to hand over her children until further notice while the joint custody agreement is revised.

The same judge told Spears last month that she would have to undergo weekly random drug and alcohol tests after saying that she was a "habitual, frequent and continuous" user of the substances.

Another hearing into the singer's custody battle will go ahead tomorrow.
