Spears granted monitored visits to sons

Britney Spears has been granted permission to visit her children under supervision while they are in the custody of her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

A judge ruled that Federline would retain custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James, but the singer's visitation rights were decided in court yesterday.

She lost the joint custody of her sons on Monday after she was caught driving in California without a valid driving licence.

Court spokesperson, Allan Parachini said: "Britney's access to her kids works out to about every other day."

Another hearing for the pair's ongoing custody battle is scheduled for later this month.
