Pete Doherty engaged to model?

Pete Doherty has reportedly got engaged to Canadian model Irina Lazareanu, who models his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss's Topshop clothing range.

The Babyshambles frontman has known Lazareanu for ten years from when she used to be a backing singer for his band.

The model has recently been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger and admitted that she had "recently got engaged".

Her spokespeople have not confirmed the engagement but a friend told People magazine: "She had a huge rock on her finger and when I asked her about it, she said she was engaged."

Moss allegedly discovered her former partner's new interest and chose her as the face of her designs.
