David Beckham's dad forgets his name

David Beckham was left distraught after his father came around from his heart attack last week and forgot his son's name.

When Ted Beckham first woke up in hospital he could not recognise the famous footballer or his sisters Jo and Lynne because he was so disorientated.

The LA Galaxy player rushed to the UK from Los Angeles to be by his dad's side at the weekend and was joined by wife Victoria who flew in from Japan the following day.

A source told The Sun: "David, Jo and Lynne were all incredibly upset."

Ted, whose real name is also David, is expected to be released from hospital by the end of today.
