The oldest member of sibling boyband Hanson has undergone surgery after being rushed to hospital following a concert.
Isaac Hanson had a blood clot removed from his lungs at Baylor University Medical Centre in Dallas after suffering chest and shoulder pain at the gig.
Spokesman Ken Phillips said the guitarist was diagnosed with venous thoracic outlet syndrome, which occurs when a clot forms in a deep arm or shoulder vein.
Hanson's surgeon Dr. Bradley Grimsley said the star has experienced similar problems in the past and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.
The 26-year-old and brothers Taylor and Zac have cancelled shows in Tulsa, St Louis and Kansas City while Isaac recuperates.
