Lindsay Lohan checks out of rehab

Lindsay Lohan has checked out of Utah's Cirque Lodge rehabilitation clinic, where she has been receiving treatment since August.

The Mean Girls actress was pictured leaving the facility yesterday, after completing her rehab programme. She was met by her father Michael Lohan, who carried her suitcases.

Lindsay checked in to the clinic on August 5 following her drink-driving arrest.

"I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life," Lindsay's mother Dina told People.com. "Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Michael added: "I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she's going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own. Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best."
