Jonathan Ross attacks stars at Q Awards
TV presenter Jonathan Ross launched a series of attacks on celebrities, including Amy Winehouse and Robbie Williams, during the Q Awards yesterday.

The Radio 2 DJ joked about Amy Winehouse's non-appearance at the event to collect her Best Album gong, commenting: "I was on a 3-1 bet that Amy would die before Pavarotti. I’m really annoyed with Amy that I lost."

Ross mocked Robbie Williams' lack of success in America, saying: "The Q Hero award should really be deserved by superheroes. Robbie Williams should get a superhero award - for being invisible in America."

The TV star jibed veteran rockers Led Zeppelin about their recent reunion, telling the audience: "There were millions of hits on the website to register for tickets to their gig. It was probably all the pensioners suffering from Parkinson’s clicking the mouse more than they should."

The chat show host also attacked jailed actor Chris Langham, by joking about his past success at the British Comedy Awards.

Ross said: "They gave an award to Langham - a nine-year-old boy. Normally, they give a trophy."
