Kanye West designs own jewellery line

Kanye West is to create a jewellery line, alongside the artist who designed the artwork for his latest album.

The rapper and Takashi Murakami, who worked on the album Graduation, unveiled a prototype of the jewellery collection at designer Givenchy's New York fashion show last week.

West said of the range: "They'll be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds."

There is currently no launch date for the line.
