Beckhams lose trespassing court bid

David and Victoria Beckham have lost a court bid after they tried to sue two French photographers for trespassing in their home in France.

Phillippe Bryzac and Francois Glories were caught in the grounds of the French Riviera property, but the court was told that the men had not climbed fences to get into the grounds and they had not taken any photos.

Glories also claimed that he was thrown into the sea when he did try to take photos of the footballer.

The Beckhams had filed a £40,000 lawsuit against the men, but Bryzac's lawyer accused the couple of trying to keep photographers out because they had built an unauthorised building.

Now David and Victoria could be ordered by the Draguigan council to demolish part of the French house, after they spent £1.5 million on a swimming pool without obtaining planning permission.
