P Diddy faces second lawsuit of the week

P Diddy has been handed a $5 million lawsuit by a hip-hop promoter, who claimed that the rapper set three violent bodyguards on him while he was at a nightclub in New York.
James Waldon filed the case, accusing the security men of punching and kicking him after he spoke to Diddy in The Box in Manhattan.
The 27-year-old accused Diddy, real name Sean Combs, of signalling for his men to come over after he invited him to watch a hip-hop group he was promoting. The papers state: "Combs gestured at (a bodyguard) to forcibly remove Mr. Waldon from close proximity to Combs."
The alleged following attack left Waldon with a number of injuries.
Combs' lawyer said he could not comment on the case because he had not yet seen the legal papers.
It is the second lawsuit that has been filed against Diddy this week, after a former colleague claimed he was owed royalties for the use of music and video footage of the late Notorious BIG.
In 1997, the year that BIG died, Combs reportedly made a verbal agreement to pay James Sabatino $200,000 for the recordings. Sabatino is now suing him for $19 million after he gave him a cheque for $25,000 but failed to keep his promise to pay the remainder within 60 days.
