Jolie, Voight reconciliation 'not true'

Jon Voight has dismissed rumours claiming that he has reconciled with his estranged daughter Angelina Jolie, insisting the reports were "a mistake".

The actor was spotted at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York on Sunday, leading to speculation that he was there to meet up with Jolie.

But a spokesperson for Voight slammed the reports, insisting: "It's all a mistake. They didn't see each other all weekend."

The pair famously fell out after the 68-year-old actor suggested during a TV interview in 2002 that his daughter was mentally ill.
