Denise Richards has insisted that she only asked for ex-husband Charlie Sheen's sperm to make his fiancée jealous.
Sheen claimed in August that the Wild Things actress had wanted his DNA in a bid to have a third child by him through IVF.
The couple are currently involved in a custody battle over their children, three-year-old Sam and Lola, two.
Richards told the New York Post: "I never meant that - I do not want another child. I only said that to make his fiancée Brooke Mueller jealous, and to make her think I wanted to get back together. I'm a single mum. I definitely do not want more children."
However, Sheen has stood by his claims, recently telling Entertainment Tonight: "There is a specific document relating to this that I am going to reserve for a court."
