Beth Ditto: 'Insults don't hurt me'

Gossip star Beth Ditto has claimed that she is unaffected by insults.

The outspoken singer insisted that she is so in tune with her own personality that other people's harsh words cannot hurt her.

She told The Observer Music Monthly: "They can't tell me I'm fat, because I know and that's fine by me. And you can't tell me I grew up poor because I heard it all before. You can't tell me I'm lazy because I'm not. There is nothing you can tell that I don't already know."
