Bloom blames paparazzo for car crash

Orlando Bloom has claimed that a paparazzi photographer was responsible for a car crash that he was involved in yesterday.

The actor's car collided with two other vehicles after he left a Los Angeles nightclub in the early hours of the morning.

Orlando explained that a paparazzo in a silver or white vehicle made a sudden shift into his lane, leaving him with no choice but to swerve his car. He then crashed into two parked vehicles.

The Pirates actor was not hurt in the incident, but two passengers in his car later received treatment for minor injuries.

Bloom's publicist Robin Baum told the Associated Press: "Orlando Bloom, who was in a minor car collision late last night, is grateful that no one was seriously injured. Bloom called for help immediately following the accident."

Police officer Ana Aguirre said: "No alcohol was involved, and he wasn't speeding."
