Gallagher in Britain's top ten wittiest

The Oasis singer scored highly in the poll, which aimed to find the greatest British wit of all time, finishing ahead of Conservative MP Boris Johnson, who could only make 13th in the list.
The chart, which polled 3,000 comedy fans for new digital channel Dave, revealed Oscar Wilde to be top of the nation's list when it comes to wry observations.
There were no women inside the top ten, with Margaret Thatcher finishing as the highest-ranked female in 12th spot.
