Mel B, Eddie Murphy court date is set

A court date has been set to decide how much child maintenance Eddie Murphy will have to give Mel B.

Murphy was forced to undergo a DNA test to prove that Mel's daughter Angel Iris was his, after insisting that he was not the father.

A date has now been set for November 14 for the former couple to argue out the financial agreement.

The court date falls the day before Mel has to perform a warm-up Spice Girls show for Victoria's Secret, but she has refused to schedule it for another day.

A friend of the singer said: "Eddie refuses to see Angel so this is important to her."
