Rachel Hunter has insisted that she has no regrets about spending her twenties with ex-husband Rod Stewart.
The couple married in 1990 and had two children before going their separate ways in 1999. However, they were not officially divorced until last year.
Hunter told The Sun: “I was with [Rod] from 20 to 29. When I look back, they were a fantastic nine years of my life."
Talking about their high-profile split, she said: "There’s nothing worse than hurting someone. The hurt goes both ways, because at 21, you’re growing up with someone. Those years in your life are tremendously important years.”
Stewart married Strictly Come Dancing star Penny Lancaster earlier this year. Hunter is currently dating 25-year-old Canadian hockey player Jarret Stoll, who is 13 years her junior.
