Ozzy handed £100,000 bill over fireworks

Black Sabbath musician Tony Iommi has revealed that Ozzy Osbourne was once arrested and handed a bill for £100,000 after he let off a whole shop's-worth of fireworks inside a hotel.

The rocker left his bandmates shocked when they woke up to hear fireworks going off in the corridor of their hotel, according to WENN.

Iommi revealed: "That night we were all woken by a huge bang and a whoosh! Smoke started seeping under my door so I opened it and saw Ozzy just going crazy. He was letting all the fireworks off in the corridor.

"Alarms were going and the next thing I knew the police had surrounded him with guns. He was arrested and taken away. The eventual bill was more than $200,000."
