Eva Mendes regrets short kiss with Depp

Eva Mendes has admitted that she regrets how she kissed Johnny Depp, her co-star in Once Upon A Time in Mexico, because she wishes it had lasted longer.
The Hitch actress starred opposite Depp in the 2003 film, but because she had such a big crush on him she did not make the most of their on-screen kiss.
Mendes revealed: "All of my screen kisses were the best, though I regret not kissing Johnny Depp for longer. I was so intimidated by him. It was the first time I had worked with an actor who I had crushed on as a little girl."
She also said that she was desperate to land Angelina Jolie's role opposite Brad Pitt in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, telling US Weekly magazine: "I really wanted Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I was 10 minutes away from auditioning when my agent left me a message telling me the part had been offered to Angelina Jolie.
"I got really crazy, ignored it and auditioned anyway. I really thought I had a chance!"
