Sharon Osbourne admits to "vanity"

Sharon Osbourne has admitted that "vanity" motivated her decision to go under the knife for cosmetic surgery.

The X Factor judge revealed that she was unhappy with her old appearance and has been thrilled with the results of the various procedures she has undergone, which include a facelift, tummy tuck and breast lift.

"Of course it is vanity, absolute vanity. I wanted for one time in my life to be skinny and good looking - I wanted it and paid for it," Sharon explained in an interview with Parkinson.

Asked to describe her old face, Osbourne replied: "Well, it was flat and round and just wasn't very attractive. It was alright, I wouldn't have gone in for an ugly contest and won! It was just, you know, a nothing - you wouldn't have looked twice! You might have looked twice at the a**e because it was that big! But that's it."
