Over one million people voted in the survey carried out by AskMen to find the top 49 men.
The LA Galaxy footballer beat actor Matt Damon, who came in at second place, while rapper Timbaland was voted the third most masculine man.
Tennis player Roger Federer and performer Justin Timberlake followed behind in fourth and fifth places.
