DiCaprio splits with model girlfriend

Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly split with Israeli supermodel Bar Rafaeli.

The pair, who have been dating for almost two years, are thought to have called time on their relationship last week after Rafaeli visited the actor on the set of his new movie Body of Lies.

The couple were thought to be engaged earlier this year after DiCaprio reportedly proposed during a visit to Israel.

A source said: "The relationship ran its course. It's bad enough having a cross-country relationship, but it's obviously a lot more difficult trying to maintain a relationship across oceans, and across continents, when both of them are very busy.

"They ended on great terms. He's a great guy, and she's very sweet. These things happen. They had fun."

Rafaeli, 22, was recently spotted leaving an Israeli hotel with surfer Kelly Slater, who once dated DiCaprio's ex Gisele Bundchen.
