Keith Richards joins NHS march

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has thrown his support behind an NHS protest march this weekend.

The rocker is among a number of stars readying themselves to oppose the downgrading of St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Richards, who lives in West Wittering, told protesters: "I hope to see you all there. I’m looking forward to supporting the march and rally on Saturday.”

Other celebrities due to appear on the march include Sir Patrick Moore, Jack Dee and actor Christopher Timothy.
