The US rapper believes that his experience of music chart battles will help him sell more copies of his book 50x50 than Lance Bass' Out of Sync.
He told the New York Daily News: "He doesn't stand a chance. With me, everything's a competition, so I bet you the end of next week, I'll be moving more copies than him. This is the same competition - this is Kanye West and 50 Cent all over again!"
The hip-hop star lost his chart battle with Kanye West in September, with his Curtis album debuting at number two in the charts behind West's Graduation LP.
Responding to the comments, Bass said: "50's going down, that's all I have to say.
"I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any relationships with guys in that book. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any space training, either."
Both books were launched in the US on Tuesday.
