Robbie gets Dubai racecourse ban

Robbie Williams has been banned from playing concerts at a Dubai racecourse.

Authorities have reportedly rejected his request to play at the venue because his last performance upset the racehorses.

Frank Gabriel, Dubai Racing Club chief, is quoted as saying: "The concert affected the horses' state of mind and their performance.

"That will not and must not happen ever again."

Williams played the venue back in April 2006 and was paid £1 million for his performance.
