Carlos Santana and his wife of 34 years are getting divorced, it has been revealed.
According to court documents, Deborah Santana filed for the divorce at the Marin County Superior Court on October 19, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.
In her 2005 book, Space Between the Stars, the singer's wife claimed that he had been unfaithful to her.
Santana admitted to making mistakes in the marriage after the memoir was published, saying: "I sincerely apologised to her and to my kids when I wasn't in my right mind and did something hurtful.
"It has helped me become more humble and to try harder to be the man she wants me to be."
The musician's publicist, Michael Jensen, said that the divorce was "a private matter and there is no comment".
The couple have three children together and had been planning to open three Mexican restaurants in San Fransisco.
