Katona is "eighth most annoying thing"

Kerry Katona is the "eighth most annoying thing" to people in Britain, according to a new poll.

The celebrity magazine regular was named by participants in a survey which was carried out for milk substitute Lactofree.

Katona was the first person to be named in a list of 100 annoying things, following cold callers, tailgaters, queue jumpers, slow internet connections, drivers who sit in the outside lane doing 50mph, people reading over your shoulder, and stepping in dog poo. Among the things deemed less annoying than Kerry were brownnosers, chavs, the smoking ban, junk mail and screaming kids.

Other celebrities named in the list included James Blunt (#29), Heather Mills (#32), Big Brother 8's Charley Uchea (#43) and Carol Vorderman (#48).
