Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has claimed that she is proud of her pole dancing hobby.
The singer has revealed that she is shocked that her pastime has caused so much press interest.
She is quoted by Contactmusic as saying: "It's a fun thing. Lots of people in Los Angeles pole dance for exercise so I don't see what the big deal is."
Fergie was reportedly given the pole by her lover Josh Duhamel to help improve their sex life.
