Simon Cowell has claimed that Britney Spears enjoys the controversy that surrounds her.
He believes that the singer encourages photographers and is pleased with the attention she has received during her custody court battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The X Factor judge is quoted as saying: "The biggest stars in the world do not court or need the paparazzi or the buzz.
"I genuinely am starting to think that she's enjoying this."
