Hilton throws baby shower for Richie

Paris Hilton has decided to throw a party to celebrate her friend Nicole Richie's pregnancy.

The socialite, who appeared with Richie in reality TV show The Simple Life, has joined forces with her mother Brenda to throw the baby shower on Sunday in Los Angeles.

According to In Touch magazine, Mark Ronson's sister Samantha is reportedly being lined up to DJ at the bash.

Meanwhile Hilton has hired a wedding planner to organise the celebrations, which will reportedly have a menu consisting of sushi, lobster, fruit and cake.

Richie is pregnant with her first child with her fiancé Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden.
