Mills' publicist hits out at 'The View'

Heather Mills' publicist has accused presenters of US chat show The View of lying about her client.

According to PageSix, Michele Elyzabeth condemned hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Barbara Walters for their remarks about the former model's recent TV appearances.

Mills hired Elyzabeth - a self-styled French aristocrat and beauty salon owner - after her previous spokesperson quit following a series of interviews in which she criticised estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney.

Barbara Walters was particularly vocal about her disapproval of Mills' emotional outbursts. She later revealed that she is the cousin of McCartney's new girlfriend, New York millionairess Nancy Shevell.

In a video blog, Elyzabeth said: "I represent Heather Mills, the most spoken-about person all over the place. I'm sick and tired about hearing these lies.

"Heather is a wonderful person... People trash her. This week I got upset with Barbara Walters and people on The View who have decided to trash Heather for the third time... And this horrible human being by the name of Joy Behar ragging on Heather, that she is the worst person you want to meet in the world."

She added: "Whoopi decided Heather should not be speaking. It went on for 10 to 15 minutes."
