McCartney to go public with new romance

Paul McCartney is to go public with new girlfriend Nancy Shevell at the wedding of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein next month.

The former Beatle was recently snapped sipping cocktails, strolling along a beach and dining out with the US socialite in New York resort the Hamptons, reportedly infuriating estranged wife Heather Mills.

Despite his high-profile divorce battle, sources claim that McCartney, 65, is keen to make his new romance official.

The couple will be among 200 celebrity guests at Weinstein's wedding to British fashion designer Georgina Chapman in Connecticut on December 15. Quentin Tarantino, Scarlett Johansson, Bruce Willis and Sienna Miller are also expected to attend.
