Boy George trial fixed for February

Boy George's trial date for allegedly imprisoning a male escort has been fixed for February 2008.

The ex-Culture Club singer attended Thames Magistrates Court this morning, but only confirmed his name.

George will stand before a jury on February 25 at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The popstar is on conditional bail until the case goes to court.

He is charged with imprisoning a male escort by chaining him to the wall of his Ravey Street home in East London.

The alleged incident took place on April 28 this year.
