Tunstall: 'Deaf brother helped adoption'

KT Tunstall has praised her deaf brother Daniel for helping her to get to grips with the fact that she was adopted.

The Scottish singer cited Daniel as the person who made her realise how lucky she was to have a loving family even though they weren't related by blood, because she realised his problems were much worse.

Tunstall said: "I think there would have been tension if Daniel hadn't been born deaf.

"Any personal woes I had with being adopted - which I don't remember having - were wiped out next to that."
