Bollywood star Arshad Warsi has said that he was subjected to racist abuse while filming a movie in west London earlier this year.
The actor was shooting a scene for Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal with Bipasha Basu in Southall in May, when two white men in a car shouted insults at the pair.
"I was shocked. I'm not used to this sort of thing," Arshad told the BBC Asian Network.
Describing the incident, he said: "A car stopped with a couple of white guys. They just lashed out at us and totally gave us their point of view. It's the first time I've experienced this."
"For me it was an alien thing," he added. "It was like, do people actually think like that?"
Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal was released across the UK yesterday.
