Shayne Ward has spoken about a traumatic childhood incident in which he caught his genitals in his flies.
Ward claims that he accidentally trapped his manhood in the zip of his trousers as a youngster and has always taken extra-special care when doing up his flies ever since.
He told The Sun: "When I was at primary school I got a certain something stuck in my trouser zip.
"I couldn’t stop screaming in pain and had to tell a teacher. In the end two teachers and a nurse had to help - it was pretty embarrassing."
The X Factor winner added: "I’m certainly a bit more careful when it comes to doing up my trousers these days."
