Claudia Schiffer has refused to write an autobiography, despite being approached to do so on numerous occasions, because she insists that she is not ready yet.
The supermodel claimed that too many famous people write their life stories when they are too young.
Schiffer told the Daily Telegraph: "I've had so many offers but I just don't feel ready yet. Everyone writes them when they are so young these days, and I don't think the time is right for me."
The German model also admitted she was not keen on sharing her personal details to the public, saying: "The other thing is you have to write about all these incredibly personal things. I've always been a very private person. But who knows? Maybe one day I'll feel ready."
Schiffer, who is married to filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, also insisted that she would not return to acting. She recently said: "I don't want to work as an actress - my job is in fashion."
