Jennifer Love Hewitt is engaged

Jennifer Love Hewitt has got engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall after he proposed to her while they were on holiday in Hawaii.

McCall handed the I Know What You Did Last Summer actress an antique engagement ring that has been in his family for over a hundred years. The pair began dating last January.

Love Hewitt's representative Sarah Fuller confirmed the news, telling Us Weekly: "They got engaged last week." But she said that she was unaware of the wedding plans.
