Aguilera paranoid about baby's safety
Christina Aguilera was so paranoid about her unborn baby's welfare that she wore a heart monitor when performing on her world tour.

The singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Jordan Bratman early next year, was terrified she could be putting her child in danger when she realised she was pregnant in the middle of her Back To Basics tour.

Aguilera also broke the news to her band and dancers so that they would be aware of her pregnancy. She said: "I was paranoid. There are so many things that could go wrong - somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardise my baby for my show.

"I didn't want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, 'Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be okay?' But I had to announce it to my band and my dancers, because I wanted to make sure they had my back."
