McFadden, Goodrem announce engagement

Brian McFadden and his Australian girlfriend Delta Goodrem have announced that they are engaged.

The former Westlife singer proposed to Goodrem after three years together but no wedding date has been set yet.

A spokesperson for Goodrem said: "The couple were hoping to keep the news private, however they feel it is important to now confirm their exciting news."

McFadden split up with his first wife Kerry Katona, with whom he has two daughters, in 2004. He started dating the former Neighbours star soon after their split, and his divorce to Katona was finalised last year.
