Price receives support over Heat complaint

Katie Price & Peter Andre

Katie Price's official complaint against Heat magazine is being supported by parents of disabled children.

Price has branded the celebrity magazine "cruel" and "ignorant" for mocking her five-year-old son Harvey, who suffers from a disorder which causes him to put on weight.

Heat's editor Mark Frith has apologised for any offence caused by the magazine's most recent issue, which contained a sticker of Harvey with the text "Harvey wants to eat me!" However, Price has insisted that she wants answers and has contacted the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) about her concerns.

A spokeswoman for Katie told the Daily Star Sunday: "There have been so many people contacting us to say how disgusted they are by the sticker. Many of them are parents of disabled children themselves and they can't believe anyone would sink so low. They are all united in supporting Katie."
