Lohan's ex-bodyguard sues for libel

Lindsay Lohan's former bodyguard is suing a magazine for libel after the publication printed a photo of him alongside a story about how another security man had spoken out about the actress's private life.

Andrae 'Doc' Renard claimed the article, published in US magazine Star in June, has "irreparably damaged" his professional reputation.

Renard filed the legal papers on Friday and is suing the publication for libel, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress for using his likeness instead of the bodyguard in the story, Lee Weaver.

He is asking for compensatory damages and for his legal costs to be paid for.
